Did anybody ever try to propagate their orchids by seeds? i've tried lots of propagations,stems,keiki,tpo cut bt seeds is the challenge of my life!

hi there , i try a lot of times by seeds , but could only grow portuguese species in my area , not tropical species, but as you should now , the orchids seed only germinate in simbiosis with a specific fungus , because they are so small , they can´t do it themselfs, because of that seeds are very dificult , it needs special conditions. there is material in same orchids sites that could help you doing a litle laboratory at home . you can try this brazilian one , www.samavidros.com.br and you can also try putting the seeds on the roots of the plant that origines the seeds because it shoud have the right fungus , and good luck !
